How is the VTCScore calculated?

The VTCScore is a 0-100 value combining 7 non-manipulable metrics (independent of mods and each company's economy) into a single score. Each metric is normalized by dividing it by the best of the period and multiplying by 100; those already in 0-100 (% perfect, % hardcore, cargo variety) go in directly.

🚛 Ton·km 17.5%

Industry-standard logistics KPI: combines how much cargo you move and over what distance. The most "honest" metric we have.

🎯 % Perfect 20%

Punishes the kamikaze: a driver with 500k km and high damage cannot be "the best".

🥇 Total km 12.5%

Pure activity: hours behind the wheel count, just less than logistic work.

🏆 Total HP 15%

Trucky's official validation for hardcore drivers: more HP = better HC driving.

⚡ % Hardcore 15%

Commitment to hard mode: no GPS, real damage, penalties.

🗺 Unique cities 7.5%

Bonus for exploring the map instead of always repeating the same route.

🎲 Cargo variety 12.5%

Simpson diversity index: rewards hauling varied cargo instead of farming the same one. 100% = you never repeat.

                    VTCScore = 0.175 × norm(ton·km) + 0.20 × % perfectas + 0.125 × norm(km) +

                                    0.15 × norm(HP) + 0.15 × % hardcore + 0.075 × norm(ciudades) +

                                    0.125 × variedad de carga

norm(x) = (x / max of the period) × 100. The score is recomputed on every page load, so if weights are adjusted the change is instant — no waiting for the cron.

What is NOT included: fuel consumption (alterable with engine mods), income / balance (each company configures its rates, not comparable between VTCs) and speed / damage (they appear in the "Driving" tab but not in the score to avoid double-penalty — already reflected via % perfect).

Drivers whose company participates AND who have not opted out individually. Minimum 5 jobs in the period.

Data shown: Steam name, avatar, company and gameplay metrics. Fuel, income and balance are NEVER published.
